Its not like I am new at this blog game but maybe I could have remembered to put the photo of the Twisted Tradition Block of the Month in my last post....Someone (who shall remain nameless) keeps telling me I am not thinking...thinking about what I have to ask?! I think I have been living the life of a mental bag lady just a few months to long.
ANYWAY! Last time we did two versions, Contemporary as seen above and then Pretty...
This time we are combining the two colorways and doing one, Pretty Contemporary...still combining fabrics in a stimulating way, pushing boundaries and exploring new ways of doing things.
We are also starting up Kim McLean's Lollypop Trees.
This gorgeous Lollypop is done best in small bites. We got the sweets already to pack up and send out and decided to open up a few more places. Sign up at the Material Obsession on line shop or confirm your spot with us so you don't miss out! And while we are talking all things Kim, we have the Roseville Album quilt patterns in stock and all the Kaffe you need to get them done in style! It might not be for the faint hearted but it does look intriguing. I am thinking...no, NO! NOOOOO!.
Don't forget that making these quilts gets you multiple tickets in the raffle for Kaffe and Brandon workshops next February 2011. Kim will be teaching at the same time as well!
And remember Madness? Well, check out the link to www.BarbaraBrackman.com and
http://BarbaraBrackman.blogspot.com
Barbara has a bit to say about Anna Williams, the maker of the quilt that inspired this bit of crazy and has this quilt on display. Barbara's blog and website are always a must see blog. She talks all things quilt history and always manages to get me thinking about quilts I absolutely, without fail, must make. It's a good read so check it out often.
gotta dash off, I think...therefore I am. kathy

Kim McLean quilts how delicious......very
tempting but can the "finishing fairy" come to my house and finish a few ongoing large projects I have on the go before starting another.
Sarah, thank you so much for putting me in contact with Brigitte - mission accomplished.

I have just finished my sue Ross. I absolutely loved it. Very inspiring. I put an 8" spotty border around it and now it's just waiting to be quilted. I loved all the different techniques we learnt, I love the fabrics and how they do all go together in the end. I'm a bit sad it's over really!!!!
