Looking, listening, taking it all in...There are so many layers to a quilters life. Just when you think you know it all a fresh perspective blows in and the world is fresh again. Is awareness the key to life? I think so. Last week we experienced Victoria Findlay Wolfe and her 15 Minutes of Play live and in person.
It is hard to pinpoint exactly when Victoria and I discovered each other on the internet but I think it had something to do with the Madonna...of course divine intervention!
Of
course I share my fascination with many other captured souls that find
inspiration in Victoria's methods. We watched demos with rapt attention for the two days of workshops that were
filled with exciting tips and treasures.
Little did I know what a workout my templates would get on the day!The room was soon full of the
whirring of sewing machines as people got very busy making their blocks!
It was amazing to see how everyone achieved something individual and wonderful at the same time! My brain is still fried so how about a photo roll...
picking through the MO scrap pile!
Admiring each other's achievements...
sharing stories...
making a MESS!!!
making sense!
looking for more, more...more!
and spending time with best friends...
gathering...at the end of it all...and end too quick for me...divine.Thank you Victoria from all of us for such a mind bending play session! looking forward to sharing more as the work progresses... k
Such a great way to take care of scraps!
I love this method!
Take care!

I am completely enraptured by those blocks! The colors are amazing, and the shapes are amazing. I am seeing new ways to use my templates already. Thank you, and thanks for sharing Victoria with us.

Thanks for the wonderful photos Kathy, and I so agree awareness is so important to life, the enchancement to quality of life for creative people is can really only come from 'awareness'.

Thank you so much for the photo trip. Wonderful for us who couldn't be there. We should encourage Victoria to do a video.

Your site is incredibly beneficial. The topic, that you just outlined previously mentioned, is quite educational. Thanks regarding revealing this sort of information with us. It is very useful for one to training. Best of luck for the future sites.
