The holiday weekend is fast approaching...chocolate eggs and family gathering will soon be upon us...and then behind us! This weekend Material Obsession is:
Friday - CLOSED
Saturday - OPEN 10-2:00PM
Sunday - CLOSED
Monday - CLOSED
We open back up after Easter and by the way...I'll be back teaching my classes in April!!! Can't keep me on the sofa any longer!
From the sitting position on the sofa to full steam ahead, the activities just keep happening! One of the nice things about having international guests is the opportunity it get out and see our own space.
One of my favourite things to do is to walk across the harbour bridge. We spent Friday evening enjoying the sights from the Intercontinental rooftop lounge enjoying the view and then on Saturday gathered with Victoria, the lovely Beatrice and the entertaining Michael to get up close and personal to the view from the bridge.
No matter what angle it is always a beautiful view to the bride.
Being back in the shop also means seeing what Wendy is up to! Yesterday I sat in on her demo for making these bags and bowls which are unbelievably fun! Every time she demos the bowl in class another one gets made so they are rapidly multipying. I CAN'T wait to make one of these colourful tactile stuff catchers! Of course, in human time we will have kits and instructions but it was just too yummy not to show off.
I wish I had a bunch of them made for Easter but maybe next year. This year I'll be lucky to get my salad contribution made I think!
So with a song in my head I am venturing out for a walk with the dog. First foray back into exercise. It is scary how long I have been still. The dog is a bit lazy so I am not worried about going to hard! All things in good time....Enjoy the holiday weekend and we'll see you at the other end...k
I haunt your blog, enjoying your posts, cheering you on to strength. With the bridge walk, it sounds like some milestones have been achieved in your recent health fracas, and while I know there are days when it is Just Too Much, know that there are many cheering you on. Including me!

I was waiting for Easter to end and reopen shopping culture. I agree with the walk towards harbour bridge to cherish myself. I was enjoying weekends and now preparing to gear-up my business again.
