It's interesting to see that you take your sewing things on the plane in Australia. I have always wanted to take something on board to work on but the one time I tried it security at Melbourne wouldn't let it through. Is there any chance to take a sneak peek at your travel sewing setup?
And thank you for the posts about your sons. I have 3 young boy sons and your posts give me some insight into life with man sons.
Thanks for your beautiful blog.

Michelle

Oh girl - that bird! I love it! Congratulations on your fabric line!

Sally

Thanks for the peak at your son's celebrations. Happy/sad? isn't it? Any your new fabric looks just like "you"! Hoping we'll have it here in the US.

Salley

Congratulations Kathy! . . a lot of creative juice there . . fabric design looks fabulous.

Katy

Hi ya
Same same as comment number 1 please!
How do you get round security with needle and scissors?
Were you able to do same in the US?
Heading away soon and thinking of tucking 40 Shades BOM hand sewing in my kit so would love to hear.
B regards

Katy re the sewing ...needles and thread fine, no issue. You will need to have things cut though because the tiny scissors that are allowed will not cut fabric.

Katy

Thanks MO Team
I have the little hexis all cut ready for the first leg to LA! So just need thread cutter!
Loving the BOM!Its the first one I have done and the most ambitious project I have attempted. Sometimes I just get finished blocks out and gaze at the prettiness and love myself silly!
Having fun!
